To finance his annual Mardi Gras party, Homer takes out a load on the house. When the loan comes due, the house is foreclosed. Ned Flanders takes pity on the Simpsons, buys the house and rents it back to them, only to find that they are less than ideal tenants.

When Marge accidentally looks at a solar eclipse, she is temporarily blinded and Homer must take care of the house. Rats infest the kitchen, and while bringing home poison to kill the rata, Homer accidentally loses Maggie to a nearby convent. Attempting to rescue Maggie, Lisa uncovers a series of clues to an ancient Springfield mystery.

The Simpsons go to a home-and-garden expo where they buy a hot tub. They enjoy the hot tub so much, they forget a date with Grampa, who asks then for a trip to Ireland so he can visit a beloved pub from his youth.

Reverend Lovejoy discovers he was temporarily uncertified when he remarried the Simpsons several years earlier. Homer and Marge prepare to remarry, then Homer disappears on the day of the wedding – and all the clues point to Sideshow Bob.

Air date: 4/5/09

Moe dates a woman he met online who turns out to be only three feet tall. He falls madly in love, but fails in the end to truly understand how she feels. Meanwhile, Homer tells Marge he is spending time with Maggie when he is actually leaving her in a dangerous playground behind the bar.
