Mike is sent to Hawaii to check on a construction project, and his firm allows him to take his whole family and Alice along. The family takes an enjoyable tour of Hawaii. Along the way, Bobby discovers an ancient tiki, which is told will bring bad luck. The Brady boys laugh at the curse, but then start to think different when Greg gets into a serious surfing accident. The children also learn about the history and legends of Pearl Harbor and Cindy is pleased to have Don Ho and Sam Kapu serenade her.

The tiki continues to bring bad luck to the family: Greg is reeling from his surfing crash, a wall hanging almost hits Bobby, and a tarantula nearly attacks Peter. At one point, Bobby tries to get rid of the tiki, but it is returned to him by an unknowing Jan. The boys learn that the idol must be discarded at an ancient burial ground for the curse to be removed.
The Tiki Caves

An archaeologist, believing the boys have come to steal his latest "find," holds them captive on the burial grounds. After the girls reveal their siblings' whereabouts, Mike rescues his sons, then convinces the professor that they have no intention of claiming credit for finding the burial grounds. A Hawaiian party wraps up the Bradys' latest vacation.
Today, I am a Freshman

Marcia is overly anxious about her freshman year of high school, and Mike asks Greg to introduce his sister around. Marcia decides to join every club at school, including the Boosters, a club of stuck-up girls who adhere to strict social rules. When Marcia invites the Boosters over for her interview, Peter finally manages to get his science project to work. When the "lava" spews all over the patio and onto the girls, Marcia breaks out into laughter and immediately realizes the Boosters aren't the types of girls she wants to socialize with.
Cyrano de Brady

Peter has a crush on a pretty classmate named Kerry, but has no idea how to break the ice with her and enlists Greg's help. The end result: Kerry's mistaken conclusion that Greg is the one who wants to go out with her. Greg enlists Marcia's help in convincing Kerry that he is a playboy. However, Peter sees through the ruse and wins Kerry's love as a result.
Fright Night

After the boys spook the girls one night, both sets of siblings compete to scare each other. After scaring each other, they all team up to scare Alice. Their plot ends with Alice smashing a bust of Mike's head, which Carol made for a contest, thinking it to be the head of a burglar. Carol and Mike come down hard on the Brady kids when they find out what happened, pointing out that their shenanigans could have resulted in tragedy.
