The Not-So-Rose-Colored Glasses

Jan's unintentional taking of someone else's bicycle and failing grades all lead to her getting glasses. She balks at the idea of wearing them, which leads to her causing a bicycle accident that ruins a portrait of the Brady kids, which Mike intended as an anniversary present for Carol. When it's obvious the portrait of the Brady kids is beyond fixing, Jan tells the rest of the Brady kids that the photographer Gregory Gaylord was so mixed up that he lost the negative, and that all the Brady kids have to go back to the photography studio for their photo re-take for the replacement portrait. After it was discovered by Mike that a replacement portrait of the Brady kids shows Jan wearing her glasses, Jan not only confesses to Mike about not wearing her glasses at the time of her accident, she surprises him that she sold her bicycle to pay for the replacement portrait.

The Teeter-Totter Caper

Air date: 12/31/71

When they are not invited to Carol's cousin's wedding and asked to stay out of the way of their older siblings' activities, Bobby and Cindy decide to show how "important" they are...by setting a world's record for most hours on a seesaw. The two even get newspaper coverage for their attempt, which winds up ill-fated. However, the older Brady siblings realize that attention-craving Bobby and Cindy indeed have their place in the family and are worthy of respect.

Big Little Man

Air date: 1/7/72

Bobby is self-conscious about his diminutive height. An well-intentioned but ill-advised attempt by his sisters to get Bobby to think he's growing doesn't help matters, but the littlest Brady soon puts his small stature to use when he locks himself and Greg in Sam's meat locker. In the subplot, Greg gets a job at Sam's Butcher Shop to save up for a surfboard.

Greg wants to cut a music record, but lacks the $150 he needs. To get the money he needs, Greg forms a family singing group with his siblings, just as Peter's voice breaks. Greg comes up with a new song to accommodate his brother's breaking voice.

Jan's Aunt Jenny

When Jan discovers an old photograph of a child that looks just like her, Carol tells her about her Aunt Jenny. Jan is anxious to meet her great aunt, but changes her attitude when seeing a current photo of Jenny. Jan becomes worried she will resemble her great aunt: old and eccentric-looking when she reaches that age. Jan's doubt is placated, however, when she meets Aunt Jenny and realizes her beauty within.

The Big Bet

Air date: 1/28/72

Greg comments to a pesky Bobby that he can do twice as many chin-ups as he can. Greg didn't mean anything by it, but Bobby demands his older brother to put up or clam up. Greg decides to go along with it, with the loser acting as the winner's servant for a week. When Bobby wins, he soon turns into a tyrant, and eventually invites himself along on Greg's date with Rachel. Bobby winds up ripping the top to Mike's convertible with an umbrella at the drive-in, and is now in a large debt to Mike for the repair bill. In the subplot, Carol and Mike attend a high school reunion with a bet of their own.
