A-Camping We Will Go

The Brady family goes on their first camping trip as nine. Mike and the boys have done this once a year for quite a few years. Now the issue, just as the Brady girls do not want to participate, the Brady boys do not want them to come along either, only to have Carol and Mike insist on all the Brady kids participating. Although the trip starts out a failure, things turn out well in the end.

Sorry, Right Number

Air date: 11/21/69

A huge phone bill prompts Mike to have a pay telephone installed in the Brady home to teach the Brady kids a lesson in financial responsibility, only to have his plan nearly backfire on him when he's forced to use the payphone to close a deal. He runs out of change, leaving an important business contract in jeopardy, which Mike is able to salvage after all.

Every Boy Does it Once

Air date: 12/5/69

After Bobby and Cindy are done watching a television presentation of Cinderella, Bobby remarks that all stepmothers and all stepsisters are evil, an observation he thinks is confirmed when Carol asks him for help in cleaning out the fireplace, and when Jan and Marcia tease him. Bobby decides to run away and when Carol and Mike find out, they devise a plan to stop him from leaving. When Bobby decides his mind is made up, Carol offers to go with him.

Vote for Brady

Air date: 12/12/69

Marcia and Greg compete for class president. When rude behavior and emotional turmoil prevail, particularly as each candidate rehearses her (or his) speech, Mike steps in and lectures the kids about unity. It's a talk Greg takes very seriously, particularly when his campaign manager Rusty suggests turning things up another notch by stirring up rumors about Marcia. Greg not only rejects Rusty's twisted suggestion, but he also promptly fires Rusty on Marcia's behalf. Unbeknownst to Greg, Scott, and Rusty, Marcia overhears the whole thing and now realizes that Greg does have the integrity and the ample sense of fair play, and that Marcia ultimately decides to concede the campaign race to Greg. In the end, a happy Cindy beats out a crying Bobby as crossing guard for an entire week.

The Voice of Christmas

Air date: 12/19/69

In the only Christmas holiday episode throughout the series' entire run, Carol comes down with laryngitis and may not be able to sing at the holiday service. Cindy asks a department store Santa Claus for a miracle. Meanwhile, the older children are bummed out because of Carol's illness, prompting Alice to remind them of the true meaning of the holidays.

Is There a Doctor in the House

Air date: 12/26/69

After Peter, then Jan, are each sent home from school with the measles, soon after, all six Brady kids fall ill. Carol already calls the girls' doctor: A female; Mike already calls the boys' doctor: A male. The kids debate over who's the better doctor, with the girls supporting Dr. Porter, and the boys supporting Dr. Cameron. In the end, just as the Brady family decides to retain the services of both doctors, both doctors decide to combine each of their medical practices into one medical office.
