Dan comes home from California for the holidays, and the family is happy. Dan is distant from Roseanne, and Jackie catches him on the phone flirting with his mother's nurse.

Jackie catches Dan on the phone with his mother Audrey's nurse, whom he had an affair with. Roseanne kicks Dan out in the process, and she is devastated over the decision she has made.
