When it is discovered that a canister filled with deadly bacteria has fallen into the hands of men protected by their foreign embassy. Bonnie poses as a socialite to gain access to the embassy in order to keep the dangerous canister from leaving the country.

Michael and K.I.T.T. travel to Carmel, California, to celebrate Michael's birthday, but Michael soon learns that the trip was a ruse to get him involved in a case involving a stolen hovercraft prototype. The prototype must be found before it falls into the hands of black-market dealers.
