Skeletor is attempting to stir up a war between the inhabitants of Eternia's twin moons. Man-E-Faces goes undercover by disguising himself as Beast Man to put a stop to Skeletor's scheme.

The Arena

An alien being called Om visits Eternia, just as Eternos City comes under attack from Skeletor and an army of goblin warriors. Perplexed by all the fighting, Om freezes the conflict and selects the most powerful warriors from both good and evil sides - He-Man and Skeletor - to face one another in a one-to-one fight and prove which side is the most powerful and wise.

Attack from Below

Air date: 10/6/84

Attacks are being carried out on farmland by a race of people called the Belats, who dwell underground. When Teela is captured by the Belats, she soon realizes they have been misguided into believing the surface dwellers are evil and does everything in her power to help them realize their error.

Into the Abyss

Air date: 10/9/84

While on a training exercise with Prince Adam, Teela falls into the dark and bottomless abyss that surrounds Castle Grayskull. Unsure whether or not she is still alive, Adam and Man-At-Arms must do everything they can to rescue her.

Fraidy Cat

Air date: 10/10/84

Queen Marlena is captured by Skeletor's minions. While He-Man and his friends are led along a false trail, Orko and Cringer find the correct route to rescue their Queen, and Cringer comes to realize he is a lot braver than he thought.

The Rainbow Warrior

Air date: 10/11/84

Skeletor captures the royal family and holds them prisoner, and the one person who can save them is Queen Marlena - who resumes her old role of fighter pilot and proves she still has great pilot skills as she uses the Rainbow Explorer - the ship that brought her to Eternia - to lead a battalion of soldiers to the rescue.

A Trip to Morainia

Air date: 10/12/84

King Randor sends Adam, Cringer and Orko to the Ice Kingdom of Morainia, to collect a powerful energy crystal from his friend King Moraius. However, Skeletor wants the crystal for himself and follows them, capturing King Moraius and demanding that the Royals give him the crystal in return for their king. As He-Man, Adam teams up with the king's daughter, Princess Janis, who helps devise a scheme to rescue her father.
