The Sludge Monster/Fortune Kooky/Heatwave Holiday

The Sludge Monster: Jon's car breaks down in front of a ancient looking hotel in the middle of the night, where Jon, Garfield and Odie have to stay the night. It is run by a crazy owner, who shows them to their room. One the wall, there is a sign about the 'Sludge Monster'. Jon tells Garfield and Odie the tale of the sludge monster, but they get so scared they believe it.
Fortune Kooky: Fortune cookies are in fashion around the farm, as Wade and Orson have a picnic. But when Roy scares Wade using the fortune cookies, he steals their picnic basket. Is the whole fortune cookie thing something to fear, and how much of it is real?
Heatwave Holiday: It is the hottest summer Garfield has ever had. He decides to keep himself cool by thinking cool thoughts, but to do that he makes it look cool. He makes snow outside, and Jon puts up the Christmas decorations. But soon, everyone thinks it is Christmas, and forgets about July.

One good Fern deserves another/Goody-go-Round/The Black Book

Air date: 9/30/89

One good Fern deserves another: Garfield accidentally kills all of Jon's plants, so Jon has to go and buy some new ones. But when the almost blind person at the green house accidentally sells Jon a meat eating plant, Garfield's life hangs in the balance.
Goody-go-Round: Bo needs a record player so he can play some music, and Orson sets out to find him one for being such a good friend. But soon he is trying to get something for everyone, with some catastrophic results.
The Black Book: Jon has a black book with all his important numbers in it (mainly girlfriends). But when he finds some other guy in his girlfriend's apartment, he tells Garfield to take his black book away and never give it back to him. Then, he finds out the truth about the guy in the apartment, and needs the black book back immediately, but Garfield doesn't seem to want to cooperate.

The Legend of the Lake/Double oh Orson/Health Fued

Air date: 9/30/89

The Legend of the Lake: Garfield is taking a tour around a cat museum, and takes his tour group to the lake in the back garden. He tells then the poem about the lake, when a prehistoric cat dreamed of the lasagna trees, but they were guarded by the dreaded puppy dogs.
Double oh Orson: Orson is reading a fictional spy story, where Double oh Orson needs to recover the 'top secret highly experimental termal neclear exploding glupin device' along with Double oh Bo, who disappeared while trying to find it. Pin Feather was behind it, but who is on who's side?
Health Feud: Garfield is horrified to find that Jon has gotten rid of all of the food in the fridge, because Jon wants to loss weight. Jon is watching a program where Rick Deltoy tells everyone how they can loss weight, but starts ruining Garfield's life, and Garfield decides to take revenge.

Binky gets Canceled/Show Stoppers/Cutie and the Beast

Binky gets Canceled: Garfield is telling a story of what happened 3 weeks ago, where Binky got fired because his audience rating were down. He came round to Garfield's house when Jon hires a handy man to fix everything that needs fixing, who makes the house insane.
Show Stoppers: The farm animals are putting on a talent show, however Wade gets stage fright before he even goes on. Suddenly Orson's brothers show up, and scare away the entire audience. Will Orson be able to entertain them enough, or will he meet his downfall on the stage?
Cutie and the Beast: Garfield has been out cuted one time too many by Nermal, who had just showed off to some people in a car, and is taking a nap in Garfield's bed. Garfield puts out a plot to make Nermal think he is ugly, which Nermal so upset that he runs away. However Odie is not having it, and thinks Garfield has been too mean this time.

The Lasagna Zone/Sleepytime Pig/Yojumbo

Air date: 10/7/89

The Lasagna Zone: An odd episode, where Jon has bought a new satellite. Garfield and Odie try it out, but Jon has set it up wrong, and despite Jon's warning not to get cheese or tomato on the satellite, Garfield goes to fix it, and while adjusting it accidentally spills his lasagna on it. Garfield gets sucked into the TV, and it is up to Odie to save him from the horrors of the Lasagna Zone.
Sleepytime Pig: Orson didn't get a wink of sleep last night, because the old wives tales unlimited's sand man is out sick, and they have hired a new temporary one. The farm animals try to get Orson to sleep, but fail. It is up to the slow sand man to fix what he hasn't done, but trouble is ahead.
Yojumbo: Garfield interrupts Jon and Liz's date as usual, and gets inspired by the Yojumbo legend. He decides that he will be the next protector, the protector of Jon. Jon is insulted when a thug tries to steal Liz away, and he doesn't do anything. He trains to protect himself if he needs to, but who will save Jon when it comes down to it?

Pros and Cons/Rooster revenge/Lights! Camera! Garfield!

Air date: 10/14/89

Pros and Cons: Garfield gets Jon to play a game, where Garfield always wins and gets to eat lots of food. Jon gets Odie to go to the shop to buy some more, but Odie is tricked into buying an old sock. Garfield and Jon are both disappointed in him, and Garfield looks to his favorite show to find out what happened, and how to correct it.
Rooster revenge: Orson is annoyed with all the pranks that Roy is doing on the farm, but Roy thinks that Orson is planning a prank to get back at him, so he ignores Orson's advice and ice creams. However, when a inspector shows up, Roy thinks that he knows who is behind it.
Lights! Camera! Garfield!: Garfield get a job working as a movie star in a film, but it turns out that his job is not what he expected it to be. He is apparently a stunt double for a non-speaking cat named Fluffy and her owner, an unnamed girl at a young age. Despite it being a movie star job, Garfield sets up a terrible plan to ruin his own career as a movie star.

Polecat Flats/Hogcules/Brain boy

Air date: 10/14/89

Polecat Flats: Jon takes Garfield to a place called Pollcat Flats, where they can learn what it is like to live in the wild west. But the idea of getting up early and doing lots of outdoor activities doesn't appeal to Garfield, but when Jon gets insulted and embarrassed in front of everyone, Garfield strikes up some revenge.
Hogcules: There was a storm last night, and Wade's shed was damaged, so he is repairing it. Meanwhile, Orson is telling Bucker and Shelton the myth of Hercules. Then Roy comes along and tells Orson that his brothers are on there way towards the farm. Orson starts having a day dream about being Hogcules and finds out the answer to defeating his brothers.
Brain boy: Garfield is being forced to come and visit Jon's cousin who decides to show Jon his vacation slides while Garfield and Odie play with Jon's cousin's polite and brilliantly clever son. But Garfield gets framed by the boy, making Jon angry with him. Garfield tries to take his revenge and prove his innocents.

Maine Course/No Laughing Matter/Attack of the Mutant Guppies

Air date: 10/21/89

Maine Course: Jon's Aunt Tilly and his Uncle Mitchell send him a lobster as a present to make a nice dinner for him. But when the lobster turns out to be alive, Jon, Garfield and Odie have to decide to actually kill him or try and get rid of it.
No Laughing Matter: It's May Day, red alert on the farm. Roy has got a new joke book. No one wants to hear him, so they go and hide on the hill, waiting for it to be safe to return. Wade stays behind, afraid of what might happen, but then he sees something from the sky to really be afraid of.
Attack of the Mutant Guppies: Garfield is annoyed with Nermal for trying to steal his food from the fridge in the middle of the night, all for her new pet guppy, so he makes up a story about giant mutant guppies living in the sewer. Nermal can't sleep from fear, even after Garfield says it is all made up, so they have to prove it for Nermal to believe it.
