While babysitting for a client and his wife, Esmeralda mistakenly tells the little boy that she is a witch. The young boy tells his friends and gets into a series of fights. The client and his wife become furious with Darrin and Samantha, so Samantha arranges for Esmeralda to put on a magic act, to show the client and his wife that Esmeralda is nothing more than a second-rate magician.

Samantha is Earthbound

Samantha develops a condition that makes her weigh over 500 pounds. Dr. Bombay gives her an antidote, but the antidote makes her lighter than air. During a charity bazaar and fashion show and Darrin coming down with a cold, Samantha eventually gets cured.

Serena's Richcraft

Air date: 1/22/72

Serena's powers are taken away from her by Contessa Piranha (the niece of the Queen of the Witches' Hepzibah) when Piranha discovers Serena with her fiancee. In the meantime, she amuses herself by going out with a wealthy client of Darrin's, who becomes smitten with her. Samantha then calls upon Piranha to remove her spell from Serena by getting the client romantically interested in Piranha.

Samantha on Thin Ice

Air date: 1/29/72

Disappointed over her granddaughter learning to ice skate mortal-style, Endora casts a spell over Tabitha, making her into an overnight ice-skating sensation.

Serena's Youth Pill

Air date: 2/5/72

While babysitting for Samantha, Serena decides to liven things up a bit when Larry Tate visits and Serena slips him a "youth pill". The pill does make Larry younger, but then it keeps on working till Larry is a young teenager, and then a little boy. Serena then shows up with an antidote to get Larry back to his original age.

Tabitha's First Day at School

Air date: 2/12/72

Samantha is forced to enroll Tabitha in school, after authorities discover that she is of school age. Tabitha meets up with a bully who harasses her, and Tabitha zaps him into a bullfrog.
