Darrin and Samantha return from Salem much earlier than expected (when Samantha disregards the Witches Council's orders that she and Darrin are not to be seen in public), but then Esmeralda receives a "Witch-O-Gram" that Samantha is to return back to Salem (and the Witches Convention) immediately. Rather than tell her in person, Esmeralda decides to send Samantha back herself, only she goofs and sends her back to Old Salem, during the time of the witch hunts. Darrin is then sent back to Old Salem as well (by Endora) to rescue her.

Endora changes Darrin into an old man to prove to Samantha that their marriage is nothing more than a novelty. By telling Larry and Louise that "old man Darrin" is actually Darrin's visiting grandfather, Grover Stephens, this prompts Louise to fix up Grover with her visiting Aunt Millicent.

The Corsican Cousins

Endora tries to persuade Samantha to be as fun-loving as Serena, so she casts a spell on both cousins, making Samantha experience everything that Serena does.

When Darrin comes to the conclusion that witchcraft is basically ruining every aspect of his life, Samantha has to convince him it is not true by concocting a bogus confidence potion.

Sisters at Heart

Tabitha and her African-American friend Lisa, wishing that they could be blood sisters, teach a bigoted client of McMann and Tate a lesson in racism.

Mother-in-Law of the Year

Endora finds a way to ingratiate herself into one of Darrin's ad campaigns. She presents an idea for a "Mother-in-Law of the Year" campaign for the Bobbins Bon Bons account, and Bobbins (the client) takes a liking to the idea and to Endora. He insists to Darrin and Larry that Endora promote the idea on a TV show, which she ultimately refuses due to an upcoming ski date. Samantha poses as Endora in order to do the TV show, but the deception is short-lived when the real Endora appears, magically, on live TV. Darrin convinces both Larry and Bobbins that the "special effects" taking place on the show was his idea, and Bobbins is sold on it.
