A vapor lock seals Samantha, Darrin, Endora, Esmeralda, and Dr. Bombay in the Stephens house, due to Sam's nonuse of her powers. When Dr. Bombay is summoned to correct the problem, Samantha takes Dr. Bombay's picture and slides it under the door so he can break the hex cast upon the house.

A Chance on Love

Air date: 3/19/70

When Serena fills in for Samantha at a raffle ticket sale, a client of McMann and Tate's falls madly in love with her. Later when the client sees Samantha at a party, he thinks its Serena. Samantha must then convince the client that she is not Serena, especially after the client fires Darrin from his account.

Endora sends a leprechaun to make big trouble for Darrin.

When Larry and Louise see a Mona Lisa type of painting of Samantha (who, according to both Samantha and Endora, is Samantha's great-aunt Cornelia) they notice on the painting that Darrin was the artist and Louise insists that Darrin make one of her. After Samantha hexes Darrin to create a perfect painting, Endora decides to put a spin on things by having Darrin make an unsightly rendering of Louise. Samantha then corrects her mother's addition to the painting and all is restored, until Samantha tells the Tates that Darrin first gave up painting (as a hobby) because he gets extremely allergic.

Turn on the Old Charm

Air date: 4/9/70

Samantha gives her father's magic amulet to Darrin in the hopes that Endora will be nicer to him. Darrin makes the mistake of showing the amulet to Esmeralda, who steals it when she thinks it’s a love charm. Endora then discovers that she's been under the amulet's spell, and she punishes Samantha and Darrin, causing them to bicker in front of Larry and a client. All is finally settled when Esmeralda returns with the charm, and Endora removes her bickering spell from Samantha and Darrin.

Make Love, Not Hate

Air date: 4/16/70

Samantha enlists Dr. Bombay's assistance in helping Esmeralda find a man. Dr Bombay brings Norton, a warlock he once helped, to meet Esmeralda, and the chemistry between the two immediately fizzles. Dr Bombay then concocts a love potion to help bring the two together. Samantha accidentally pours the potion into some clam dip and everyone at a dinner party (thrown by the Stephens) falls for a different person: the warlock meant for Esmeralda falls for Samantha, a client's wife falls for Larry, the client falls for his own wife, and the once-shy Esmeralda falls for Darrin.
